Thanks Toprivetguns - I will make sure that all these things you have highlighted are changed for peace of mind. It is my first Volvo so I am trying to be a bit more careful where I get the work done and what type of parts will be fitted.

GRN motors at Smethwick are a Volvo specialist, give em a call. The chap I used to deal with is called Benny but that was a while ago.
