Loss of boost
While driving yesterday i had a strange noise and it resulted in a the engine service light coming on and reduced performance. I nursed it home with no boost at all. I pulled the following coeds from it when i got home. ECM135F AND ECM1507. After a reset i can drive the car with what sounds like a boost leak, i haven't driven it hard enough to bring the service light on again. Any suggestions on where to start looking would be welcome please.

Check the charged air pipe from turbo all the way to the intercooler and on to the inlet manifold.
Look for splits / cracks / hose clamps having fallen off etc. Check also the intercooler for leaks The best way to do a leak test is with a smoke test machine. But the poor mans way is a second person revving the engine while you look under and around the motor following the charged air pipe and looking / feeling for air leaks. Watch your hands around moving parts!

Thanks, i've had a look and can't see or hear anything from underneath. Booked in for a smoke test tomorrow.

Take the undertray off and check those boost pipes p[articularly the orange seals on each end of resonator. You can't examine them with tray in place.

Bang on, Had it smoke tested, it was indeed the seals on the resonator box. New one ordered and fitted at the garage today. Pick it up tomorrow.
