When I purchased my car it already had 7 pin electrics and aftermarket towbar fitted. I have upgraded to 13 pin for my caravan. I have a problem that I think is related to a poor ground connection. If I keep the fridge on whilst towing the ATC control keeps resetting so it effectively applies the brakes whilst moving. If I turn off the fridge the ATC works perfectly. So for now I just turn off the fridge. But I want to sort this and I think some of my earth points in the car aren’t great. Has anyone fitted their own that can advise where to connect the ground/earth point please? Thanks.
