Hi folks, my red 240 never gives me problem and I had to find a project car to get busy
Here is the project car in need of full restoration. It’ going to take a while but I am sure it will worth the effort and the money in the end.
One owner from new. 1975, B20 engine 1 strongberg carb.

Very cool! A very rare car - looking forward to updates.

Doesn’t look in too bad shape from the photos...

Cheers

I didn't know that the B20 was fitted to European cars; I was under the impression that the B20 OHV unit was North-America only while the SOHC B21 slant-4 was the European-market engine.

Any chance of some under-bonnet shots please?

Apparently in 1975 some 240’s were fitted with B20’s in Europe. North America only received B21’s in 1975.

Hi folks, work in progress and more photos.
Car sat over the last 10 Years in a garage. The owner looked after the car very well during his ownership. Not too many miles, 230.000.
Help, suggestions, ideas of upgrades are welcome.
At the moment I can only think of 2 Hella additional lights and roof rack (metal+wooden as per original accessories list).
Interior is in mint condition, photos coming soon...
Priority now is to open the engine. Looks nice, clean and dry at the moment.
Next is to work on the body, no dents anywhere. No rust. Any particular rust issue with this first serie?
