Quite amazing how this shortage of components has struck and stealers are able to make as much money (if not more) on used stock. It’s almost like somebody is really going for one last screw on ICE before the new rules land in 2030

Used electric car prices are going the same way. Certain models less than a year old are reportedly selling for as much or slightly more than new because people don't want to wait out the production delays for a new one.

Greedy consumers paying on the never-never are doing it to themselves, and the used car motor trade are only too happy to oblige.

I don't think the new rules will happen in 2030...Much like most things that come from Boris.I even doubt Bozo will be in charge by then.
Let alone the infrastructure for charging will be anywhere near ready..

No surprise here but "MPs: Government "has no clear plan" for 2030 ICE ban"

Indeed, the most dealers could have made the most profit last year by selling none of their stock....

The big power EVs absolutely mullah any of the big V8s for acceleration, proper brutal things. And yes, if you drive them like that the range suffers terribly. So just like a big bore v8 driven flat out.
