1987 240 GL- Project Anyone???

£2000 FIRM
Starts off the button, drives and stops bodywork in really good condition for age

Needs one maybe 2 bits on sill welded
A tyre and inner rack end suspension looked at

Brand new spare tyre
Central locking
Wiper motor working!!
Heated seats
Blue velour interior
2.3 red block engine (carb)

If not sold by 5th then I’ll break full car but perhaps someone on here may wish to save it?

It would be a shame to see this one go. My own '87 GL saloon, registered a month or so later, has done nearly twice the mileage and goes like a rocket - 43/4 hrs from Devon/West Somerset to Windermere non-stop in September, some 300 miles on a tankfull. So hope someone will take on this car as it may have many years useful life left.
