Default Something weird about this auto gear stick?

Looking at buying an XC90 on Facebook Marketplace and there seems to be something 'off' to me about the auto gear stick - I can see the storage compartment is flipped open but isn't the gear stick trim itself popped up a bit? What do you think?

Thank you!

Obviously I will do other due diligence like an HPI check.

Hi Clan, thanks, have sent you a DM. Sorry - what do you mean the lid? Does it look to you like it's got a common fault?

Just to second that - I've looked at a few cars on Facebonk now and most are owners trying to get rid of badly maintained, problem cars. At least with e-bay you have feedback so there is some indication as to the ethics of the seller.

There are some cars on Facebonk that are cheap as people use it to sell stuff quickly but you must be able to stand and manage the risk - i.e. know how to assess a car yourself from the ground up and be able to lose the money if it does all go wrong.
