I have had this car since Feb 96 when it was purchased from Tollbar Volvo in Leamington Spa @ 45,000 miles.

I have all the Mot’s since the year 2000. The car has been maintained by a local garage.

The car has been the work horse for the family since it was purchased and has give years of service, towing, load carrying, and the usual family motoring requirements.

The car was involved in an accident in June 2002 and written off as uneconomical to repair, but as the car was so reliable and engine & gearbox so good I decided to have it repaired. This was done with second hand body parts, the car was by then 9 years old so I did’nt pay top dollar. I am glad that I did because the car has been and is still great. I have an AA inspection carried out following the repair as a requirement for the car to be reinstated on fully comprehensive insurance. Photos show the front end where it was damaged and repaired. The paint job on the bonnet has faded somewhat.

It drives straight and brakes straight as a die and can’t be faulted. It has been used daily just as normal. It still looks good.
The chassis etc was not affected by the crash. I have run it ok since without any problem. Engine wise it uses no oil between changes, it is a dependable as any Volvo can be and starts straight away. I honestly do not know of any mechanical faults with this car.

The interior is clean and comfortable, the trip does not cancel and a minor repair needs to be done to the tailgate light as it does not work when tail gate opened but works on the roof switch.

There is hardly any rust . Even the underside of the tailgate, a usual rust spot is clear. Even under the wheel arches it is very minimal. Bodily sound as a pound.

For the last MOT in July 04 it had two new tyres on the front and new discs and pads on the rear. A new cat probe was replaced last Xmas I have the bills etc to show.

If you are looking for a dependable Volvo estate to do a job for you then this could be the one. I am selling four years of reliable motoring here possibly more.

The purchase of a newer estate makes this reluctant sale necessary I would not be selling otherwise.
