Well it does come up as a Sports Edition, but its missing the Galaxy wheels and the egg crate grille, I can't see if its missing the roof spoiler either.

Shame its missing the interesting bits that people want sports editions for, just looks like normal old burgandy 940.

I had noticed it's got the same boring old wheels as me which I thought was strange. I suppose whats missing gives people reason to barter though

So is the sport basically just a 2.3 lpt? hpt? with Galaxies, spoiler and egg crate grill then, nothing extra in the performance?

Sports edition ruined by taking the best bits off it. As for performance, they are very quick indeed, and very different to a normal 2.3 turbo. Bit steep in price as it does not have the other bits, but grills can be picked up, someone on here was selling galaxys, but by the time you get the bits and buy the car, it will be well over priced. Paid £600 for mine with all the bits.

They are a little quicker but very different? I think not. Engine wise, they are exactly the same - Just had the turbo plus fitted for that little extra but all that does is increase the boost for a timed period or until the knock sensor kicks in.
