Adding extras (Heated seats) C70 T5
Hi,
I have a C70 T5 Auto, it doesn’t have heated seats, computer or traction control. But I don’t see Volvo having multiple production lines for things like seats I am assuming that the seats will have all the wiring and elements already installed. All that will be missing is the switchgear and relays. Under the seats is a rook of wires some go into the seat its self and some are left ready for the motor unit to be installed. So anything that isn’t an external unit will be left in as that would be the cheapest and easiest option. Has anyone had any experience with adding items to the car after its left the garage? My previous can had all the wiring and relays for front fog lights but obviously the lights where missing but where installed at a fraction of the cost by me. Comments? Cheers, Mark |

Doubt the heating elements are there, but you could by these from the dealer (bit pricey though). I've worked on my 760 - little fiddly - you need to take seat out of car. You'll need the thermostat (may be incorparated into the relay) - suggest you try a breakers yard for 850 on models, else this will cost a lot (talk about burning a hole in your pocket!)
