Scottish Events Schedule

Just an update to the Scottish Mini Meets Schedule.

The meets are now going to be held on the last Sunday of every month, and now include an Inverness Meet.

Sunday 30th September - Festival Theatre, Pitlochry @noon
Sunday 28th October - Inshes Gate Brewers Fare, Inverness @ noon
Sunday 25th November - Gretna Gateway Retail Park, Gretna @ noon
Decembers Christmas Social meet TBC
Sunday 27th January 2008 - Toby Carvery Strathclyde Park @ noon

Next year will see the club attending "Calander Classics", Selkirk Rally and Chatelherault Classic Car rally, and hopefully there should be the introduction of "Track Days" at Crail and Knockhill.

The meets will continue in this format for the foreseeable future, now that my shift pattern has changed due to working for a new employer.

All Current VOC members have also had mail shots and emails confirming the above dates.

Was wondering if there was any plans to do Rolling Road Days would certainly be intrested in that if one was to be organised and trackdays

I am at the present moment looking at getting a Track day off the ground, probably early next year at Knockhill. I'm going to put up a separate thread very soon, to gauge interest. Also planned is a rolling road day, details and prices of this will included in the post. Watch this space............................................. ......

another couple of dates which may be of interest to folks north of the border

normally the fife historic vehicle club has a rally at the vintage bus museum near kelty, i haven't been able to find any dates for next year, but it's usually around the 18/20 june


tayside classic car club have a show at errol, on june 8th next year, it's mostly a classic event, but i'm sure they'd accept entries from newer vehicles

arbroath seafront spectacular, scheduled for july 19th next year, becoming a big show now, with a wide variety of events, and displays. a good family day out, but be warned, the constant smell of cooking smokies will make you hungry !!

i'll probably be attending arbroath and errol with the cougar, but i might be away over the lathalmond weekend.
