B18 Alternator position

I purchased one of the compact alternators that someone recommended. I was able to find it here in the US. It seems to be an alternator used on Kubota tractors. My local auto parts store was able to source one base on a part number 111048 - Cargo 12 volt 40 amp Denso Alternator. It's slightly different where the #3 or B stud is on the back instead of on the top but I believe it's essentially the same. I will also need to enlarge the hole that attaches to the block.

I'm a little confused on which terminals I connect the wires to. I only have two wires going to the old regulator. I believe this compact alternator has an internal regulator. I'm assuming the "Battery Wire" will got to terminal B or #3. Would the "Indicator Lamp" wire got to #1? Do I need to make a jumper wire to terminal #2 or anything like that?

The extra wire goes to the battery to monitor the charge condition, mine has three cables to it, I removed the control box and extended the two cables to reach the alternator and added the third wire back to the battery
