It is still an expensive option and perhaps people don't care so much for the allure of air. I for one don't. I haven't driven on air before, granted, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't find it so amazing that I'd throw another two grand at it. Likewise as I mentioned in my previous post, most of the roads I drive on are in decent condition so not sure where the benefit of air comes in. This, like the noise problem, is totally subjective. Whatever works for you doesn't mean it applies to everyone else |

"I haven't driven on air before". How can you possibly offer an opinion on the difference in ride quality then? You can, and have, offered an opinion on the cost of air suspension but that isn't the issue here.

What was asked was for people's opinions on whether it was worth adding air suspension to the order. I gave my reasons why I didn't. Simple as. |

Perhaps in your world I was also wrong not to even consider the Bowers and Wilkins upgrade simply because I didn't actually sit in a car with that setup to be able to determine whether it was worth the upgrade or not. How foolish to make a decision based on perceived benefit (or lack of) and share that thought process with others, right? I do hope you continue to enjoy your superior, trouble-free airs. |
