I've got one from my V70 spare since I put an LPG tank where it came from. Alloys are 225/45R17 and 5 stud, the rolling dia of the ss will be the same. Does that fit the V50?
In MK, swap for your can of squirt? EDIT If interested can you pm me as I may not spot the reply Last edited by Fordy; Mar 14th, 2009 at 22:46. Reason: see ^^ |

re space saver
we have 16" wheels,i take it your space saver is 17" i take it that is the size of the rim,so will not fit our 16" ???

No, my alloys are 17" the space saver isn't. What's important is the rolling diameter. Use http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html, put 225/45/17 in the old tyre size and your tyre size in the new, eg 215/55/16. If the two are within a few % of each other it'll be ok as a space saver.
I rolled past a v50 the other day and noted they're the 5 stud, I presume the dia is the same. Top right of the page is where my pm link is, don't know if you need minimum number of posts. |

C30 S40 V50 spare tyre
Are they th esame as the 'new' ford focus, might be a cheaper option??
I'm keeping eye on the local scrap yard for any five stud but no luck as yet!! Cheers Alan |
