  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

Default help me please

I've just brought a 54 plate s40 200 diesel...
I'm driving around 2000 rpm's and accelerate but my revs go up but no change in speed.. like something is slipping!!. But gear changes arw still smooth.

A slipping clutch will give you smooth changes, as it cannot snatch, as it is worn out. The other thing is it may have oil on it from a leak.

Are you sure we aren't talking about a knackered torque converter here? (i.e. auto transmission vs manual)...
