I’ve been chuckling to myself with this thread, it’s nice to have a bit of economy but running a 2 tonne plus 4x4 with a 4.4 V8 petrol coupled to an auto box & then being obsessed with mpg figures baffles me.

Just to chuck an iron in the fire, the car with the slightly poorer consumption might have nothing wrong with it, it could be the other car that is better than it should be
