  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Yes a drop can be normal once stationary but it can depend on the circumstances.
I've been on the motorway in summer then hit a very dense traffic jam and the coolant temperature has risen even at idle from heat soak.

OPs starting point is 112°C so a few degrees drop when idling would still be over 100 which definitely isn't normal.
