Default 2003 C70 Heating system woes

So 2003 C70 (Mk1), I'm getting very little airflow into the cabin, and moving the heat selector dial does not seem to make any difference. I've checked the cabin filter and whilst it's ready for a new one, it's not blocked, I've binned it so its running without one now. Also the heater motor is running very quickly and vibrating, as though it's going faster as there is no air to move.

Going to get VIDA on it over the weekend and start testing the various actuators etc, - but just thought I would ask if any wisdom first?

Perhaps lack of use? Is the cabin air recycling flap opening and closing via the ECC switch?

Could be that - car has been stood since August...

That was my first thoughts. The heat output and airflow is controlled by the position of the flaps. VIDA should tell you what the issue is. Hopefully not too difficult to sort.

Possible detritus around said flap holding it shut? It's just located below the cabin filter so, seeing as you were in there already, you can pop the scuttle panel again to see if it's functioning correctly...just to rule it out.
