Sorry graeme only just spotted this! A very big well done,a fantastic car for a fantastic chap.
You both deserve the care and attention.
Can't wait to see it in the flesh.maybe i can shelter under the tailgate again lol.
Super chuffed and regarding price? Very little in my opinion for an increasingly rare model.always fancied one myself but as mine are defo used as dailys i couldn't keep it as clean and cared for.

Good work Graeme,

What ever you paid it's worth the money. Any 70's 240 is a rare beast now, especially one unrestored and well looked after. Look at what some of the seventies durge is going for now and it you can see it was just a matter of time before prices started to climb. There was an Austin Allegro went for £4K the other day. 240's are still great value for money, they're just catching up a bit.
