Default Xc70 brake discs corroded

My xc70 brake discs are all corroding. Discs and pads were replaced about 3 year ago - volvo parts.
Driving is approx 9000 mile/ year, mostly motorway.
I have read the xc70 needs to be braked hard to remove corrosion, Doesnt seem to help.
Should i just replace all calipers with reman units? Whats peoples opinion on BCS - “brake caliper specialists limited “ who quoted £269 for reman of the 4.

Or is there another potential cause? Like the brake assist not driving the calipers onto discs properly. Any suggestions welcome.

same for any car really - brake discs will corrode if undriven and left in wet conditions but then clean up when used normally, nothing to do with how hard you brake, just normal use

if corrosion is not cleared up evenly across the disc then I would first pull out the pads and check the top and bottom where the tabs locate is all clear of debris (remove bracket and clean out with wire brush, also that the retaining springs are fitted correctly, and that the sliding pins are clean (wire brush again) and then well lubricated

also it's cheap and easy to replace the fluid and bleed, but I imagine you would also be reporting strange pedal action if that were an issue

if all that is good and still no improvement there may be some issue with the calipers or brake module etc, hopefully someone will advise best parts to use or if there is a rebuild kit worth using cost-wise
