Angry Driving journal is still a mess in AAOS cars

It's been more than 2 years since the introduction of AAOS and the driving journal is still not working properly.

Whenever I park my car in an area where is no internet coverage (e.g. underground parking garage) driving journal stops working (not logging the drives) and I have to manually 'force stop' in the car settings to get it working again. Is it only me or any of you are also experiencing this? It's very annoying when I forgot to do the reset and I am just realising after I have driven several hundred miles without any logged distance...

Another annoying thing is, for the MHEV cars, it's still not logging fuel consumption, only the distance, departure/arrival location and the odometer.

Yes it's absolute rubbish on my 2023 car - loads of trips missing, no fuel consumption recorded, journeys are merged.

Very poor programming on the part of whoever wrote the code, but then the same goes for the AAOS implementation on the car where they've left buttons in place on the steering wheel from Sensus that do nothing now - such as the switching between cruise and limiter using the left and right buttons on the left pad, which now do nothing at all on cars without Adaptive Cruise and Pilot Assist. The ability to switch between cruise and speed limiter was really useful on the older models.

V60 T6 23MY been into dealer for 1st service. Since its return the driving journal has failed to work - not even recording the homeward journey after service. Searching for info, came across this thread and VonRypp comment about a "force stop" in the car settings to get the thing to working again.
However, I can't seem to find how that works/where its actually at/ how to find it...Any help appreciated..
Cheers
Bob

No idea what a force stop is but the centre screen reset might help

I am not at the car right now but if I remember correctly, it was in the car settings under Privacy. Then you have to find driving journal in the list and it will bring up a new screen where you can either disable the app or force stop it. You have to click on force stop, then start the driving journal again from the screen.

Let me know if you could find it. If not I check it for you.

Thanks Vonrypp for your quick reply. Driving journal was where u said, but I could not move the slider toggle to switch it off...I was referred to log in to "your Volvo account" to change this setting, as was suggested for all the admin privacy settings.
I checked through all the "SETTINGS"/connectivity And/controls and /profiles and /privacy and /Google and /system and could not see a login sub section. The app on my phone proved equally devoid of a login subsection.
I suspect its just a tap here, and a slide there to sort this but my ESP is a bit low, and I'm rapidly thinking, game of,soldiers, sod it, for a .....

Have you tried swiping down the top of the screen? At the top there a narrow bar with the time, mobile reception etc. Touch it on the right side and swipe down. It should bring down the profile selection. I think you can log in there.
