Default 740/940 heated seats

I have a LHD 740 GLT, in which the previous owner changed the interior. It has full leather seats from a RHD 940...I have plugged in the drivers heated seat (LHD car) and noticed that it has a green relay fitted. Now the passenger(what will have been the drivers side) seat doesn't have a relay... So my question is should each seat have a relay?

Cheers

Yes. Heated leather seats have a relay under the seat. The relay has circuitry to prevent overheating the leather. The relays do fail internally. Usually they can be repaired by taking the cover off and re-soldering the failed solder joints.

Small package postage is £7.50 so say £13 should cover it.
