There are 3 available here:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/124861210...QAAOSwVFpfRrnu

... but the cost would be £900!

It is hard to believe Virgo wheels would sell for so much - I'd have thought £300/set would be about right.

Do they have to be Virgo wheels? A number of other Volvo wheels from the 740s and 940s fit and might be a fraction of the cost. Here is an example, these are the Pholus wheels (I think from a 940) I bought for £30/set and spent another £30 or so in materials refurbishing them myself:

I use them for my winter tyres; in many ways I think they look just as good as my summer Virgo wheels:

It depends on why you want the wheels, but if you are able to cast the net a bit wider you might find something very good and much cheaper.

Good fortune,

Alan

Hi Alan, thanks for the reply. I have a 240 GLT I'm about to start restoring and I believe it had them fitted when new. Its lost them sometime between 1985 and now. So ideally for originality, I would like to find Virgo wheels.

There’s a GLT breaking on flea bay. He may still have the Virgos.
He’s in Glasgow.
