2004 V70R having problems with chiptuning
Hello my name is Alf & I`m new on this forum. Was hoping to see if anyone here might have some experience regarding these issues.
I have a 2004 V70R AWD (manual transmission)which I`m having some troubles with after chiptuning it. The problem is that it seems to go to lean. It performs like this both on midrange rpm & up towards top. It cuts totally and falls a sleep. Adding no power at all. I`ve tried several programs from two different Chip manufacturers, it`s all the same. When I remove the chip, the car runs like it should, and has 305 hp tested in bench. I also have 3" exhaust from front to back. I`m starting to wonder if it could be the petrol pressure regulator? I`ve understood from a mechanic that on this car this is not vacuum-controlled, but electronic. Is there anyone who has had problems like this? Would appreciate any answers or tips. Best regards Alf, Norway |

If your car runs well as standard I would say its down to the maps you are trying. What maps are you trying?
