Default tools, draper impact sockets -

was looking at some draper sockets today for impact use

http://www.toolstation.com/shop/p86722?table=no

reason for post is wanted opinion, as sockets are short or normal length.

So when you undo things like a drop link where the bolt sticks out, the socket would not be long enough.

The other option is the deeper type bit of a tube socket.

So do I bother with them

Normal depth impact sockets are OK for our droplinks I've found.

I find it handy to have both standard and deep sockets. Draper Expert tools are decent for the money, as are Sealey sockets. If you're going to buy an impact socket set, try to get one that contains a universal impact joint. They're very handy to have.
