Default Another volvo 262c for sale....

Not mine, it's in Dublin i'm in Belfast (1.5 hours apart) so seemed rude not to go see it. Liked it just not sure if it's worth £10k. He's only just advertised it so not open to offers as yet. If he still has it in a month I may re visit the situation.

Feel free to pop me an email if anyone wants more detailed info pics etc.

It's just not my cup of tea to start with. A cross between a Cortina 1600E and a Gin Palace version of the Grenada ....

But for those whose boat it floats, well, the price is a gamble. I do suspect the odds are that you will never ever sell it for more than a fraction of that price ... or then again it might become a classic and you might be able to sell eventually for 100k ...

Re the history of the car, are there photographic as well as paperwork records over the years to show that it has not in reality been, ahem, tarted up at some stage? If considering anything like that price, EEK, one needs absolute provenance ....

And oh yes, if paying a classic car very high price, does one want non-original, lpg ....

Could be a nice one but way to dear. Practical classics say £4500 for concourse or outstanding car. I always watch on eBay highest I've seen one go is £5500.
I'd want lower miles, factory manual box + rarer colour like gold or blue for £10k. Oh and am/fm cb radio as well. Btw if that says coupe on boot it has a 1980 badge. It should say 262C!
