2001 v70xc/xc70 detachable tow ball
Hi guys,
My car has the tow bar but not the detachable ball. Anyone got one knocking about? I did buy a v70 one hoping it would fit but it was too short 😢. Thanks in advance Phil |

I can do you the removable ball, but you'd have to buy the rest of the towbar to go with it as I'd need to sell it complete.

I'll get it out of storage this evening & check it over. Have you already got the electrics? If so, I could hang on to those to sell separately to bring the cost down a bit.

Here's what I've got. It's complete with all bolts, the plastic cover that is used when the hitch is removed, the hitch in a cloth bag & 2 keys.
It's currently setup with 12-pin electrics which I assume you don't need so I'll remove that first. I don't know the exact courier costs, but its' pretty big & heavy so I was thinking in the region of £100 including delivery or £80 if you can arrange collection. I was in Padstow a few weeks back, but wont be down that way again for a while. Barnstaple is probably as close as I will be going around about Xmas. No problems. I appreciate it's likely to be more than you'd be looking to pay just to get the tow hitch, although it's probably cheaper than replacing what's currently fitted and installing a fixed hitch version.
I'm having a clear out of P2 bits so I'll give it a few weeks and then I'll put the towbar in the relevant for sale section. |

Yep, still available. If you're looking to fit it to a facelift model, I also have the trailer module that plugs into the REM:
