Information

VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

V70, and have problems selecting 1st and reverse gear when the engine is cold, and particularly when the weather is also cold. I gather other people have had the same problem, and wonder if anyone has found the best solution. I am reluctant to take the car to a Volvo garage, as I have experienced their exorbitant charges for unnecessary work. I would appreciate any advice, before I try to find someone to resolve this problem. If I can get the car into 1st gear, and move forward a couple of feet, I can usually select reverse, but it can be quite a struggle. I am also worried I may be doing some damage to the clutch/gear box.
