Thumbs up

Still impressed with my Verde all Seasons xl's.....20,000 miles now and still 7 mm tread all round and wearing evenly all round so alignment must still be good......Definitely buying again next time round when they're up for renewal.

I'm actually looking for a set of all rounder tyres. Want something durable and wouldnt need replacing every year like someone here mentioned they did.

I live in the Midlands so theres not a lot of snow etc. Any suggestions?

Has anyone been able to compare GY wrangler HP AS vs Pirelli Scorpion Verde AS? These are the 2 on my short list.

Any comments appreciated.

Final update on the nokian suv had them changed today for a set of weatherproofs they had done 35k miles and 2 years old, they had around 3mm of tread left. They got noisy towards the end both in a droning sound and squealing round corners. They still gave good grip in the wet. I decided to go for the weatherproofs as we get snow about once every 5 years but lots of rain in winter. I would recommend them as a good tyre especially if you do get cold weather they even survived the south of France.

4 Michelin CrossClimate should be arriving tomorrow from Camskill. £131 per tyre, which I didn't think was too bad. I'll keep this thread updated with my thoughts on them.

Well it has come the time for me to change tyres on my XC90 Sport. At the moment i'm running on 255/50/19 General Grabber UHP and I would like to go for something else this time. I live in Scotland, so vet grip is important and I also have a winter tyres wheels set, which I run on Oct-Mar.

I've only done approximately 35k in the past 5 years, and with going between two sets of tyres, Generals are already needing replaced, which i don't think is very good. I also find them quite noisy too.

I have to stay within the budget, so cannot go for expensive tyres, but would like to get something decent, so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated (I simply cannot go through 92 pages of the thread lol). Thanks you!

This might help... http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Search/...r/Order/Rating

Personally I'd look at the offerings from Pirelli and Goodyear. Camskill offer competitive prices too.
