I modified the standard hubs to be 5x114.3

filled the existing holes by welding up and drilled a new PCD and drilled discs etc to match

Lots of work...but my wheels were worth it

Not today but last weekend covered 700-800 miles up and down the country and through the peak district including a run over the snake pass and back. What a joy the car is to drive

My Sister had a new clutch fitted to her 2003 S40 1.9D for £300 as the clutch was slipping and very high.

Was that just the clutch or was that with the DMF? I'm thinking just the clutch so was the DMF ok?

Got sick of those Vredestein quadtrac 3s I've got - all season tyres really are useless on T4s

Put new tyres on the front and rear - Toyo Proxies T1Rs all round. Car feels so much better. In theory the all season should have been better - half winter tyre, softer compound but the Toyos are so much nicer to drive on.

I'm happy

Also put another tank of V-power nitro+ hoo har in.
