Thanks Swishtony for your extensive list which was beyond the call of duty.

Listened to a few tracks last night and picked some out to add to my playlist. Wife not happy as despite having my headphones on I was accused of 'dancing in bed and being really annoying' which was spoiling her ability to read her book. Hey ho.....

So far added Valeri - Zutons, Tin Tings - shut up and let me go, Franz Ferdinand - Take me out.

Will check some more out tonight and maybe this time my wife will offer to join in and dance.............

Do you know what, I'd forgotten about Dr Hook. As Swishtony would say " when you're in love with a beautiful woman" - Dr Hook, circa mid-70s.

I will check this out.

Busy week so only just got around to checking out your list on iTunes & Amazon. The trip is not far away so this new music is timely. Ended up downloading the following:

• Cee Lo Green, Bright Lights Bigger City (new stuff for me)
• Scissor Sisters, Don't Feel Like Dancin' (overlooked when first released)
• The Cure, Close to Me & Inbetween Days (forgotten)
• Paloma Faith, Only Love Can Hurt Like This (you triggered my memory that this is in the charts now)
• INXS, Never Tear Us Apart (prefer this version to the one you suggested)
• Propaganda, Duel (thanks, never heard this before but it's good)
• China Crisis, Black Man Ray & Wishful Thinking

Much appreciated. I know you're patiently waiting for your XC60 to be delivered but.........can I tell you that the Premium Sound system with subwoofers, set to focus on the driver as the sole occupant in the Sound Stage and with the graphic equalizer set to Rock (bass & treble emphasis) is.........epic
