Try British Gas as they will install a 16Amp charging point for free, or there are various other companies recommended on the government website. Mine was installed by a company in Wales off the main fuse board and includes a separate meter and isolation switch. There is a huge difference in time between 6Amp and 16Amp. A full charge at 16Amps takes around 3-4 hours max

Cheers for that, Brittish Gas 32 amp charger on order for a bit of future proofing, but I need to upgrade the cable from our fuse box in the cellar to the garage, needs to be done and a quote is in to carry it out. All part of the fun!

I think they only provide 32Amp chargers now anyway as you say future proof. Unfortunately I asked Volvo the question and you can only charge at 16Amp as there is a protector to stop it charging at a higher rate.

if I remember rightly yours is a model year 14. The hard drive on the sensus connect came in model year 14.5 so I don't think you have one.
