Hope it will be something cheap & stupid in the end.

Thank you for all your feedback.

You say you couldn't see the new part but I don't suppose you tried to perform the adaption anyway, via VIDA, with the new part fitted? Or was the option not available?

Sorry to hear you're have such issues with this one, Passenger, I wish I could offer you more info but I've never owned one of these later D5 motors nor worked on them. It may just be best to give the car over to a turbo specialist as they may have the correct calibration equipment perhaps.

Best of luck in getting it sorted! We don't want to loose you!

Of course not.
Sorry for bad English

So VIDA said adaptation is done and I went for a drive and saw that is nothing change. Same problem.

I called volvo specialist. He is guy which Volvo official service call him for questions.

He said other stuff to be checked, on the end turbo vanos. Vanos can be repaired. It is not needed to chamge whole turbo

Small update

So turbo is fine. I was by mechanic with some Bosch diagnostic. They are official service for Subaru but doing all kind of cars, mostly AMG-s

So guy is sure that actuator is not working fine. He did reset errors I went for drive. Pulls D5 as he should. But actuatoris not working 100 percent good. Has some mistakes, but turno pressure is 1.4 bar and 100% spinning.

Now 2 ways:

Sending my unit for reparation in hope that parameters will stay same, so after reparation unit will be readable by my car's ECU

Find somebody who can, if possible, code new unit that ECU can read it. I payed 190€ with shipping but car is not reading him

So, whose fault is it?

If they reconditioned your unit from your car why doesn't your car see the unit it knew from before?

Did you ask them?

Thank you for the update!
