i have called the finance company again today at 4pm and they still say it is still on finance so ile ring back on friday and saturday to confirm again.

but he has put the car was on finance on ebay so i do not not know why he didnt tell any one before what was so hard to do that as he must have knew that people will do a hpi on it sounds a bit dodgy to me and when you ask him things about the car he gets really nasty and asks why are you asking questions about this car well its my money so i will ask what i like if he wants to sell it

Questions and answers about this item

A: Outstanding finance was paid off on friday the 6th apparently can take 3-5 working days to go through,so my estimation is as from tomorrow the car is clear of any finance!!!!ta

I had a rude surprise once with outstanding finance when I went to do a trade in.
Came up with a big Red box on the dealers screen "outstanding finance">
Dealer didn't bat an eyelid, said the flag was years old, left there by Volvo themselves (ex demonstrator)
They do it all the time he reckoned.

well i called the finance company again this morning and and they still said they got interest in it and i even spoke the the manager this time to sort it out and to find out if it is there fault or the seller is lying i just dont know what one is lying.

but they did say it can tak up to 3 days to clear but its been a week now so it should of been paid off by now and they told me that the seller would have had a letter saying its all paid off to go with the car for proof unless its in the post to him as we speak.

but if he just said it was or is on finance when he listed the car for sale and told any one that emailed and called him it is then it would of been a lot better in his favour and people not thinking he is dodgy.
