do you think its a mte issue?
cheers

i dont think im loosing boost due to an airleak.... thats for sure!

assuming the ecu knows how much air is flowing then it should fuel for that? & then adjust again if its not correct when its coming out....

i am running slightly less max boost than the origional mte map.... i need to get someone to try my ecu before i think about it being an mte problem

but it doesn't because some of the air should be going out via wastegate accross the map but its not cos the bcs is keeping it shut when the ecu thinks its ajar......
sure the lambda sensor can adjust the mixture ratio but i am not convinced it can adjust it by the amount that is needed...

cheers

the difference between our two systems would show up.... i think i have two exhaust sensors & you only have one?

i personally think the ecu can cope with more than you give credit, i have also blocked off the evap system so the ecu is assuming that air is going in aswell?

as the ecu is adaptive, i would veiw it this way...

from fresh (basic/modified)

ecu reads all its sensors thruout normal driving(what ever that is) & will compensate for anything that isnt right....

i assume there will be an *exhaust sensor map* that the ecu relys on? IF you adjust fueling with a remap then i would expect this map has to be adjusted aswell to compensate for fueling?

IF the exhaust sensors wernt doing the correct job, would you expect the emlight to come on with a fault?

all interesting stuff

LOL
