being o so far away in northampton i am gonna come,

are we as members of voc parking collectively or are we just parking as and when we arrive ???

When you have written VOC, do you mean VOC members or forum members?
I would suggest that this is going to be a very busy event. When you arrive there will be marshals to help you park.

I'm trying to find some photos of the last Gaydon Volvo Marque day to give everybody an idea of what's going on. If you want to meet other people can I suggest you meet up before getting there and then you arrive together, that way you can be sure of parking in the same area! There will be no differentation between who is a VOC member and who isn't! It's all about sharing our interest in Volvos!

Here's a couple from the end of the 2002 show - most people had gone home but it was a lineup I couldn't resist.

First pic is my 2001 S60 with the World-record holding P1800S belonging to Irv Gordon (2.5 milliion miles & still going), with a PV351 behind. Second pic is of Irv's. then mine, the "ghost" US-spec 480 prototype that was shown de-badged to the US in 1985-ish and then should have been destroyed, and a P1800ES.

Yes - that is a Citroen in the front row! Perhaps we should give the man on the gate a Volvo Recognition Chart, or a new pair of glasses!

Ta, those pictures answer a question I had then - no attempt to park in ranks of similar car models, just as you come by the looks of it.
