PS his reply about the extended gearstick, was that he’s 6’ 2” and found the original a stretch…..
Original stick believed to be in the bundle of parts, so we shall see

Cheers

That was funny.

btw, I just saw an ad someone published on reddit r/rwdvolvo. A 745 in Virginia for $7500. Modded on the cheap. Hugly wheels. 150k miles. 1990, manual. And the poster seemed interested.

The world is insane.

I like the blue one too. The shifter thing is odd, but the car looks good. How high will it seel for though? 3k? more?

Well that is the million $ question isn’t it?? As it stands it’s got an MOT only for 4 weeks or so.

I just don’t have space or time to take a punt and buy it without a full years ticket, fortunately it’s only around 10 miles or so away, and a MOT test centre is just a few hundred yards away from his house.

If it passes, then it’s still a car with a ticket but also has 250k miles.

Opening offer suggestions welcome, £1500 ??

Cheers

Without the ticket, it’s just another 940 needing work. It’s a stop-gap motor so without the ticket it doesn’t fit the criteria.

£1500, with the ticket is enough with that mileage. You’ll know when you see it!

Good luck mate.
