Would you be willing to walk me through the installation steps for the audicom OASi Aux? I'm shooting to just have the aux input without the Parrot. I have a 2006 XC90. (If willing, pm me with your email address to make it easier to message back and forth with images) |

be careful on 2006 model year
Hi,
Be careful on the 2006 model year as OASI says it does not work. It does work once the car stereo is switched on, but will not wake up the car amp unless the car stereo is on. If you are happy with this then you should have no problem. If you want the phone to work without the radio being on I have a workaround. good luck and please keep us updated.

Ive recently uninstalled my parrot mki9200.
However whilst it was easy to get out, ive got a spare connector located low under the stereo and now i have no sound. trying to figure out what ive missed? If this cable connects somewhere , any ideas? Got a feeling there "was" a cable prior to fitting (as i only recently brought car with parrot fitted) and now i might need to buy another cable to fix the problem. some pictures here if you can help thanks in advance. http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=262106 |

Just to reiterate..I am looking to "remove the parrot system and restore the factory stereo" which ive done but done have any sound from factory stereo.
In the earlier example on this thread: The connector at the top of the parrot (long rectangular) when removed there is no sound via the factory stereo. (guess that makes sense). When i replace the connector for the blue parrot unit, the sound returns. I cannot find any other factory std connector that this should be plug "back into". Would be very grateful if anybody can advise? Last edited by baggies1; Jan 14th, 2017 at 11:49. |

The AMP is bolted into the floor. Unbolted and found the SOT lead and removed. All good. |

As an aside, can I ask what you are doing with the Parrot kit? If you are selling, can I have 1st refusal? Mike |
