Yea I had a chat to a friend today who said the ecu will need the immobilizer signal to continue putting out spark signal, not just fuel supply from the pump but I'm not sure yet. Ofcourse I can use a separate fuel pump and 12v relay switch if the car will just need fuel feed.. Pls let me know what you find |

Not really sure mate but if I was able to get 350 I could take that.
It is taxed and MOT'd. Its all irrelevant right now though as I'm yet to find out the expected cost to repair the burnt exhaust valve. I will update the thread I created once I've got a price.

How much for the exhaust valves from the T4 mate?
Assuming it is a B4194T, or if its the B4194T2 and the valves are compatible.

Hey Gatos did you find any information about the immobilizer? If it cuts out the fuel pump because I can bypass the fuel pump and use a separate one if the ecu will continue to send a spark signal to the spark plugs

I have heard two different sides of the story, so not sure myself. The only thing I can confirm for sure is that the fuel pump will cut out. COnfused about whether the ECU will send a signal or not to the spark plugs. Best thing is to post in the forum and hopefully someone will have the answer to that

Hi Alex,
I don't suppose you have the sump and oil pump for an 2002 S40 1.9D hanging around? Cheers.
