Well you could always swing by on Friday as you head over, I’m sure Mrs Moomoo would appreciate a diversion to a Kings Lynn Industrial Estate 😀😀

I’m sure Baby could do with a friend👍

Cheers

No room , thankfully. Still think it’s ok though. Mrs. Moomoo wouldn’t mind but I’d rather you mentioned it!😁

More likely a perversion on the Hardwick Narrows/Kings Lynn Industrial estate!

Sounds like Andrew doesn't want to rock the boat with Mrs Moomoo though so i, for one, am keeping quiet!

Hardwick Narrows? Is that where the Campbell’s Food factory was located?🤔

Or something more disreputable?😛

Just had another look at the 740 estate. It could be the basis of a good resto. The only thing that makes it one I would not consider is the sunroof.☹️

For £1000 seems like a good deal for someone who can weld. It’s warts and all which looks bad but you’re not paying for someone’s bodges. There’s not too many decent 145s out there.

No, Hardwick Narrows is where the new car auction is - Campbells was so big the postal address was Hardwick Road with the ind. est. on the right being Hardwick Ind Est where Frigoscandia (now Sainsburys!), Sun (engine tuning), Mars, Multitone (pagers, remember pagers? ) and various other places were/are.
Hardwick Retail Park is where the Pizza Hut and Tesco is with Campbells Meadows being after that.

The old car auction was held at the Speedway track on the Saddlebow Ind Est off the Saddlebow Road, that was 30 ish years ago and not sure when they mvoed to the new place.

I used to go to the sugar factory at Saddlebow, many moons ago. Busy little area the Narrows by the sound of it!😁

Yes, loads of car dealers, new and used, down there. Plus of course ACA and a big hotel on the roundabout, accessed through the Narrows.

I'm not sure if the Saddlebow sugar factory is still there, i heard some years back that they got rid and i've not checked to see if that's correct.

A few of the sugar factories are closed Dave, Spalding, Peterborough, Ely, Felstead, Kidderminster, not sure about Brigg and Bardney.

Ely was a favourite of mine , sneaking off the A1 and creeping down the Forty Foot drain in winter time.😁
