Nobody's ever died in an xc90 but if they stopped using the park and only park brake you'd have more chance of being killed by one running over the top of you. |

Volvo pads are crap! Produce way too much dust on my beautiful wheels.
![]() Going to try Pagid pads to match the discs. Do Volvo discs have a paint covering on the discs like Pagid, so they essentially stay rust free? Bonus with that is you don't need to mess cleaning the discs with brake cleaner when fitting.

If that was the case then why buy an xc90 to get the poorest park brake ever made. As I said above non genuine discs and pads has no difference on foot brake efficiency for mot. So why throw away money if no need too? His apec brakes was perfect for 10 years. Too much scare mongering about needing genuine on here.
