Well guess what folks??? The thread in question has been locked and is soon to be deleted....you couldn't make it up if you tried!!! I am sure we are all in absolute shock that he has reacted in that way...... Ho hum....

Well perhaps the benevolent Mr. Justin Bingley (a.k.a Shestica on this forum) could comment on his libellous comments in this thread (post no 8) directed at the VOC, given he is so keen to avoid / resolve "legal" implications:

Unbelievable!!! Thats all I can say after reading the link you put. I must say that VOC is great. Not unbiased since I do read points of view about all tuners. I would not want to be in any forum thats so biased to sell its own product.

What members should ask themselves, is Don Kalmar Union a moderator or owns VOC? Or do (usernames in VPCUK) Volvotuning, Justin and that old lady (forget her username) have any links to what they are selling? How unbiased will they be? When I read stuff at VPCUK, I get the feeling its nothing but a place to sell RICA and no one else can have a say about any other tuner. Just looking at volvotuning reply NO:2 of that thread. Don't start the nonsense???? I thought it was a forum and if that person wanted to use MTE, so be it. Whats so nonsense about where he choses to spend his money and why he thinks so.!

I for one am happy with VOC. Its fair.

cheers

If that's what Justin really wants to think...?! Seems a crazy suggestion, to me.

cheers

Seen similar things on VAG forums about REVO et al - entertaining but just creates bad feeling and puts people off tuning.

If you tune or map a car, the bottom line is you have to accept the engine and car in general will be under more stress and things are likely to break or wear prematurely. It's not often in life you can have your cake and eat it too. I've tuned cars up before, spent alot of money and came to the conclusion that if you want a fast car, buy a fast car to start with

I can see the similarity:
Justin ----- Shestica..

Any particular reason for a multiple user names on different forums??

Well Pigapumbu, if anything, here are examples of the sorts of things that Don has had to put up with:

http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showth...marunion.co.uk (talk about affecting someone's business!!)

http://www.vpcuk.org/forums/showthre...ghlight=kalmar (some unsubstantiated comments there, me thinks)

http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showth...light=response - and in particular from that thread - http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showpo...5&postcount=47

http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showth...light=response

As Bob points out his his post of the last thread, when you are faced with a response like "I don't believe you" when the facts are laid on the table, with no credible rebuttal, you suddenly realise the intellect of the folk you are dealing with and it really is pointless trying to provide a well formed reply.

ITs absolutely crazy. Thanks for pointing out. Seriously, its reflects on how they will run their business. I hate to be the one asking them for any customer service.

The link you posted about taking used of a similar kalmarunion.co.uk URL is another piece of evidence as to the mindset of these people. Isn't that illegal in some way to get a url thats very similar to a competitor website name? Perhaps now its not been renewed. But still!.

In the end if anyone tells me about how good that tuner is or the product, here is my answer. Taken from the maestro himself,.. "Thank you..but I don't believe you".

On that bombshell, I will end it here.

cheers

Fascinating - glad my car isn't turbocharged.............

One of the VPCUK threads was started/caused by my old mate "the troublemaker" - Dave did you really mean to drop yourself in it quite so tactlessly? Get in touch mate as it must be beer time and I might not be working in MK for much longer (will explain over a few beers - somewhere near the station as I want to keep my licence )

Well, here is yet another quote from Mr. Justin Bingley from one of the posts which has now been deleted:

Yet the following post on VPCUK is left unedited:

http://www.vpcuk.org/forums/showpost...99&postcount=8 (from http://www.vpcuk.org/forums/showthread.php?t=22919)

So Turbo Technics get a slating (totally unsubstantiated too!) which could impact on their business (especially since some Volvo owners do have their products) but that's obviously perfectly acceptable to Mr. Bingley given he has done nothing about it......is this not libellous by his own definition? Double standards??? SURELY NOT!!! The extent of hypocrisy which exists on some forums is truly astounding.

But then again reading this post, in the context of what has been said, clarifies lots of things I guess:

http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showpo...7&postcount=12 (from http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showth...echnics&page=2)
