Didn't attach updated list to last post - I'll get the hang of this one day!

Hi, when I saw the dates a cold chill went down my spine as that looked around BKV time! I've just checked with Chris Wickers and John Griffiths and the BKV is the weekend of the 17th and 18th of June! That's a sad conflict of dates!

Thanks for that Iain - thank goodness you spotted it!

What does everyone think? Personally I was rather keen to attend the BKV weekend!

Should we return to the original Monte Carlo plan?

As you will see my user name has changed (for reasons that I wont bore you with). Thought that I would point this out to avoid any confusion in relation to coordinating the rally!

Ive also just seen Julie's post in Performance cars about this meet not being for FWD cars. I dont see why we couldnt allow everyone on here to come. I know there is a divide between FWD and RWD owners but at the same time, we all belong to the same forum, we all drive volvo's so i dont think anyone should be singled out for simply the type of volvo they own.

Doesnt sound very community spirited of us does it? Just my opinion

Some of us may be at cross purposes here - I dont think anyone has suggested that FWD's wouldnt be 'allowed' or welcome! If a bunch of old RWD's want to meet up and a bunch of FWD's want to join them then so much the better!!!

However, in light of the clash of dates we need comments and suggestions as to whether we ditch the Le Mans destination and return to the Monte Carlo plan.

In light of this possibilty I have asked Iain to change the title of this thread to 'RWD Rally 2007'

And to return to the original point - as far as Im concerned whatever the destination anyone will be welcome - RWD, FWD or AWD!
