Ok Guys just an update on the Aerial System
I was at the Leicester forest east services on M1 the other night waiting for Neil to turn up and reset my SRS warning Urgent light and as a few Lorrys went past I noticed the TV pics started pixalating. . Hmmm So I was wondering about a 2nd aerial in the car and came up with this Idea so I have ordered the parts and will keep you all updated The original Volvo anolog systerm had 2 aerial's on each side but these digital one's 2 should take care of all our problems The Names next to the Plugs are the people on Ebay . . trust me these items are sure hard to find and a pic of the volvo where I have put the aerial

Simple look at videos again its all there. .
But basically all TV's tune from 21 to 69 so tune the TV to say 69 and set the RF out to 69as in picture below jobs done Then switch on the Free view box and you will see a blue screen saying Set up menu for example and then follow the instrunctions in the Freeview book you get and away you go If any one wants a more detailed "HOW TO" let me know I can do a refresh video going through all the steps if that will help any one But Any more info or help on what ever bit please feel free to post

So I'll have a look at the videos, but can't at the moment as the work pc doesn't like youtube...!!!
But am I right in thinking there are no physical wires between the RF converter and the volvo screen - I know this seems like a really silly question but I'm just trying to understand it all fully before I take the plunge and I certainly don't want to cause any issues with the electrics in the car lol |

Ok there is no magical Jedi way force trick . . .
It's all connected by wires hope this makes sence The RF out I just cut the plug off and using some 5amp elecrtical connectors striped back the coax and joined thus . . . Note you only need to cut one brown wire . . Make sure your brown wire is NOT to close to the plug you want a good 4" Vince where do you live ?
