Ahhh I thought mh was Meath I've got a old Irish reg fiat diesel van I keep meaning to fix up and use but never get round to it it's a storage space at mo.i will get round to it eventually but youre egr looks much much cleaner whats the inside of the intake like I bet it's gunked up.

Ok so another quick update since cleaning the egr and cleaning the intake as best i can without removing it...
Its not smokey on tickover and barely when driving normally put the foot down and she puts out a little bit still but fades away rather then it staying there until i put the foot down hard again but nothing like the massive ploom it put out the other day, even before it was very on and off so its still very dificult to know where i stand! Look forward to hearing what yee think!

Mine is better than that brand new zafira in the picture engine wise it's quieter and more lively and it's done 145 thousand more miles. I get the occasional DMf clatter but that hasn't happend for 6 months. But yes that's true lol, out of the two give me my old volvo diesel anyday

Engine wise it's never gone wrong touch wood but lately I've had suspension parts and ball joints fail but mine has done nearly 150 thousand that's to be expected. But engine wise it's all original, only thing that's gone wrong is the temp switch that was £20.

Mine still on its origional suspension arms !

Hiya mate that's a job well done next I would change fuel filter and air filter, also coolant and oil all new fresh stuff and she should be good have you had a gander at the fuel filter easy job.

@darlo mate I've still got the original suspension arms and bottom ball joints, it's my top mounts and steering track rod ball joints have been replaced on mine.
