Marty and Dave emailed again.
Looking forward to seeing you Friday! Spare wheel now has a new home, also. Come back to me Andy, I have removed the parts I think you need!

Good news, thanks for posting that, Steve.
I just finished preparing the four doors and spare wheel for TurboDave to collect tomorrow... have a safe trip down!

It was great to meet Dave and his lady when they came for the doors, and to ferry the spare wheel north to Neil. I had to physically restrain them from kidnapping our kitten, but otherwise what thoroughly nice people they are!
I hope the rest of your trip went well. Do let me know if Neil hasn't been in touch yet... Steve, I hope you're enjoying your tunes by now! Chris, has your glove box arrived safe and well? Marty, I just PM'd you. Everyone else, still plenty of bits left!

KruJoe,
Yep, the glovebox is here and thanks to your mad packing skills it survived totally unmolested!! :-) I'm going to sort it proper once and for all with some fibreglass and washers and maybe post up a procedure. Many thanks matey! Chris... |

Hi Joe
Doors and the wheel are now safely back in Ayrshire after an eventful and rather damp drive further south the Leeds on Friday then back up on Saturday night. The good lady can't decide what she wanted more, the kitten or the massive Highland cow that met us head on on the way up the dale... "Awwww, he's cute! Can we keep him?" Errrr, naw he's not! Anyways, again appreciate all your efforts. Shall be fitting the doors once we've moved and some degree of normality has returned to life! I haven't heard from Neil yet but there's no panic... if Neil reads this, I'll be in Dunfermline Tuesday (day time) then again on Friday (overnight) and will be there permenantly as of Sunday. But as said, there's no rush. Again, appreciate all you did Joe. Top bloke! Dave |

Thanks Dave, and Chris!
LOL @ Hamish! My wife loves 'em too, especially the little ones. This is Hamish's two-headed mate (Hamish in the background, most un-impressed!) I took this picture on Christmas day 2009. We had no work on so went out for a drive (not big fans of the whole crimbo thing). These beasts can be a bit of a pain on the road over Highside to Settle, especially on dark foggy nights. They love to hang out on the road for some reason. Maybe because the farmer feeds 'em right on the road ^. Eventually they do move if you nudge them with your bumper though! They're so bleeding docile. That's good news Chris, despite the mad packing, I was still unsure it would arrive unscathed - they really are fragile as you say! Dave, I appreciate there's no rush, but I'll send a PM off to Neil just in case he's forgotten or something. Thanks again for your help!

I'd be interested in the idle control valve, assuming it has one. Could you let me know please.
