Otherwise very pleased!

Just the standard 17 alloys that come with the active trim, can't remember what they're called TBH. I just liked them as they were [a] easy to clean, [b] not 18s [tyre cost, plus ride comfort] and [c] not bad looking - I think I'm showing my age...

Hi Gmac - Hopefully they can improve on a March delivery for you. Is your contract hire through the Volvo dealership?

Hi Jamk,

It was ordered through the dealer but the finance is going through Lex Lease so not sure how it works to be honest.

Just happy i am a getting a great car at a decent price!

I am hoping the delivery date is pulled in as well.........March seems like an eternity away.

Think it was just airbag cut off switch and the running boards. Parking brake needs thinking about at the moment MrsPitva has stalled a couple of times when she's taken her foot off the clutch to apply the park brake pedal. Best on a manual to hold it with the foot brake, knock into neutral and apply I think. Can see why its less of an issue with an auto! The pedal is high enough to be out of the way though i.e. you can still rest your left foot to the left of the brake and the parking brake not be in the way

MPG was about 28 on the long mixed run back from the dealers I expect when its run in it'll be 34-36 on a run and 26 ish for lots of stop start stuff. MrsP managed to get 14 mpg out of an RX8 a few years ago so I'm not holding out for excellent MPG. I am trying to work out how I can pinch the XC90 keys when she's not looking though!

Hi Rob,

It is now showing as 15th Jan so that is better, do you think there is a chance it could get pulled into before the end of the year or does the date not change much?

XC90 now due to be at dealers on 25 November. Still seems a long way off but it's better than mid December.

Good news 2young.

I have been speaking again to my dealer and they are in "talks" with Volvo about getting some build spaces from other countries at the factory.

My understanding is that each country is allocated a certain amount of cars per week (or whatever) and if one country in not using it's quota another can negotiate to get the extra capacity.

I hope it is true but not holding my breath.

Graham
