Hi thank you for allowing us to join and happy New Year to you all.
I am not sure if I’m allowed to mention a car if I’m not please delete .
But I have the following in my workshop it has been there for a couple of years and I would like to Move it on.
We are based in the UK. It starts and runs . 1970 good history file could benefit from a bit of love and attention, but a very solid Straight car .
it owes us about £3000 ..

Bodyshop business so probably had a shiny quick blow over a but like Margo, but its same year and with the same opening rear side windows. Would perhaps make a good spares car, or if on close inspection this was a better shell, then I could use Margo for spares?????

Mmmm, now where can I hide a 145 from t'missus?????

The ramblings of a madman

Cheers
Steve

But seriously, it needs a respray at the bare minimum to make nice but it's in Poole, it's a 1977/78 car probably made from the cheap Russian, tinworm-prone steel - not a good mix!

Rust City here we come!

I might be wrong, only viewing would confirm but the facts suggest it's probably a rust-pit.

No MOT history at all???? most intriguing, but might be fun to hear the vendors explanation.

Industrial strength roof rack could suggest a previous hard life as a builders van, but you could have one of those rather nifty roof mounted tents, a la Land Rover

Worth an email, nice little trip to Poole

Cheers

“Been in the family for many years. On drive for 10 years prior to 2018. On the road since after gearbox oil seal changed. Solid but some surfaces rust around windscreen and on door panels. Runs sweet. Starts every time. Red block 2.1 ltre. Comfy Tank ! Seats half leather. DIY repair to door card by my late father . Everything works except tow light harnes tow bar fitted.”

Obviously self-declared MoT-compliant after 2017 as would have been 40 years old Sept 1977 (think it said september) as was off the road for 10+ years previously.

It was hidden in the "Item description line" not the "proper" item description - took me some finding too!

Well it’s now at £1550, still a long way from the asking price of £4995 but still 6 days left to tempt you …….go on, you know you want to😀😀
