That purplish colour looks like some sort of anti-corrosion coating Steve - given that stretched limos (and hearses) are taken from a normal saloon and stretched, there's every possibility that they added the rustproofing.
I remember seeing that one on ebay not long back, surprised it ended up at ACA though, perhaps it didn't sell on the bay and they decided ACA was a better option for an ex-funeral car.

Cheers Dave, that may explain it, I just assumed it was a originally red/purple, and then resprayed.
