realized i've dropped a clanger,
didn't actually order the new thermostat just had it in the cart
but on a positive note did give me chance to add the Volvo coolant to the cart before actually ordering the bits

I had the tracking (in the US we call that Wheel Alignment) and balancing done on the V70 (D5) yesterday.

So, I've been sitting in the house all day, waiting for Amazon to deliver the DDPai.

Keep checking the website, tracking the package. At 21:00 hrs it says the package has been delivered to the resident.

I'm "What the ^&*$?"

No one - and I mean no one - not even the mailman has come by today.

My wife finally comes home after an evening with her workmates (that's how you say it?) - October fest in Cambridge and she says - "have you checked in the garden?"

No - why the %^&$ should I? There's a front door to knock on - there's where I expect deliveries to be made...

So I go out back - it's raining and sure enough - there's the package - wet - just dropped (thrown?) over the fence - and with a number of slugs crawling over it.

Am I ****ed?

You bet! You read about this stuff happening but never think it's going to happen to you. If that guy (woman?) worked for me, tomorrow he/she would not any longer.

On a nicer note - the people at DDPai must have taken lessons from Apple on how to package their products - very nicely done.

I'm looking forward to install get this in the D5 tomorrow.
